Here are some style frames from my first proposal for the opening sequence. Which I really like because there was that typical Surrealism in it as well as many references to belgian jokes and stories (Miss Belgium racist crap, the Queen's hilarious response to a death threat, our JCVD "Muscle of Brussels, ...)
Unfortunately, this version has not been accepted. Here is the final one.
